Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis: One of the most beautiful walking areas in Austria!
Countless footpaths in three levels of varying altitude, each one different and always with new fascinating plants and flowers with more or less Alpine character awaiting the guest in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. The first level is at 1,400 metres. Here there are the three Raetoromanic mountain villages Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis. They are linked to each other by a glorious network of footpaths, which hardly require any fitness and lead through legendary oceans of flowers and the woodlands on the sunny plains. The second level is at 2,000 metres above sea level and can be easily reached by anyone with the cable cars. Up there it is great to enjoy the walking. Well maintained footpaths which are even accessible with pushchairs and fantastic views, idyllic mountain lodges and exquisite panorama restaurants to take a break... and you can take a gondola cable car or lift from mountain to mountain – which is free of charge with the new Super Summer Card (as is the hiker’s bus and lots more)! The third walking level is at 2,400 metres above sea level and can also be reached by cable cars. Up there are many starting points for Alpine mountain tours including all the three thousand metre high summits in the Samnaun group with breathtaking views – in more ways than one! Deep blue mountain lakes, the secretive "mountain eyes" invite you to take a rest and contemplate the meaning of life.

In Serfaus walking is made into an exciting experience for the whole family. With the three experience footpaths which were worked out by the author of childrens’ books Thomas Brezina, Serfaus offers children (and parents) a new door to nature. The "Crash" in Serfaus is a detective story in which the small walkers need to solve the puzzles, the "Witch Trail" in Fiss invites families to look, wonder and exercise and on the “Explorer Trail” in Ladis the participants learn all about marmots, ants & co.
