Tyrol’s Ski-Dimension Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis
Dimension is a term that primarily means size. So it is easy to imagine that "Tyrols Ski-Dimension" Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is one of the many vast skiing regions with the benefit of a common skipass. But behind the term "Tyrols Ski-Dimension" at an altitude of just under 3,000 metres in the upper Inn valley is a vast winter stage, which differentiates itself primarily from other regions with its wide range and perfection of its offerings. And also the village of Serfaus helps to make "Tyrol’s Ski-Dimension" unique and distinctive.
What makes Serfaus unusual cannot be seen with the naked eye. If you stroll through the winter village, you will immediately sense a pleasant difference to other villages, where popularity is measured by the number of visiting cars. This cannot be seen in Serfaus. When guests are not just arriving or departing on a weekend, then there is no traffic in Serfaus, and the village belongs to pedestrians. The reason for this benefit is under the ground and does not make a sound. An underground train runs on cushions of air from the entrance to the village as far as the valley terminus of the Komperdell cable car, picking up passengers with their skis at two stations along the way and taking them comfortably towards their winter enjoyment and back to their accommodation.
Limitless and very well maintained – that is the best way of describing the skiing area of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. This is a result of the maintenance programme, which adheres to the highest standards and keeps the 180 kilometres of slopes in best condition day and night. In order to fully appreciate this white dream, there are a total of 53 cable cars and lifts which purr in 1,200 to 2,800 metres above sea level, powerful and modern with the highest levels of comfort, so that the well known “lift queue” does not have a chance to develop in "Tyrols Ski-Dimension". The Snow God doesn’t really need help in the Serfaus skiing area at almost 3,000 metres altitude. However there are snow systems on all major ski slopes of the Ski-Dimension and they are able to provide snow over many kilometres of slopes if needed.
With countless freeride sloped and two fun parks, snowboarders and fans of new winter sports are excellently catered for in Serfaus. Service is generally the main focus in Serfaus. Straight at the underground terminus you will find the S1-Center, an infotainment centre with ski school office, piano bar, cigar lounge, VIP shop and the "Check in" ski hire with ski storage – unique in Europe. Adults glide with rapid gondola cable cars and lifts up to the Komperdell middle station, children have their own "Murmli Cable car". Once at the top there are other Serfaus specialities – the "Take off"-Center, a unique centre for new sports in winter, with hire and instruction, and the "Kinderschneealm" for children. Without resorting to unnecessary superlatives, this is one of the most perfect winter paradises for children in the Alps with children's ski school, ski kindergarten with full day care, countless games and adventure areas such as the Serfaus Family Park with tubing tracks, motor sledge courses and an igloo village, a kids’ restaurant and the Murmli-Trail with eight experience stations and talking figures.
In the Murmlikrippe at the terminus station in Serfaus children from 0 to 5 years of age are well cared for. In the village centre there is the "Murmli Park", another kids’ paradise across 10,000 square metres, which wonderfully complements the children’s ski meadow for our smaller guests in winter. For the very special break, there is the first ski lounge in Tyrol on the Komperdell with extraordinary architecture and exclusive offers. A further infrastructural speciality is the "Flight&Cross Park" in the Plansegg area, a fun park for the whole family.
